Moorings ::

We have 50 deep-water swinging moorings in a min depth of 6m and laid in trots.  They consist of 54mm ground chain secured by 3 tonne concrete blocks throughout their length. 7m, 32mm surge chain is shackled onto the ground chain at 30m centres.  A 32mm rope riser is shackled to the surge chain at a “trawl” buoy and this chain is attached to a surface buoy. The moorings are suitable for vessels up to 11.6m in length or 15 tonnes gross weight, but a number will be available for larger or heavier vessels on request. The moorings are professionally laid and serviced.
